All the staff at the Waikerie Medical Centre are committed to providing full medical services to Waikerie and surrounding towns and districts.  We have several groups of people within our community with unique needs, due to various circumstances, e.g. Cadell Training Centre Trainees, specific ethnic groups, CALD.

We work from a dedicated Medical Centre and provide a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week service.  Emergency and in-patient work is performed at Waikerie Hospital and Health Services Inc (50m from the surgery).

Obstetrics, surgery, and emergency work is provided by the practice, along with routine general practice consulting.

The medical staff consists of  3 full-time associates (Dr Ian Gartley, Dr Kenan Wanguhu & Dr Kellie Mibus), 1 part-time associate (Dr Jacobus vanStaden), salaried doctor (Dr Renuka Konara) and rotating GP Registrars.  Providing excellent and invaluable support are our nursing and administration staff.

Our Practice Manager, Mrs Marilyn Hahn, oversees the smooth running of the practice.

Leanne Lawrie, Sheree Loffler,  Dianne Fulwood,  Christine Temple, Joanne Traeger, Nicole Sandy, Heather Hoffmann, Sharon Gore & Amber Sharrad perform the reception, filing, and front office aspects of the practice.

All of these people are able to assist with queries related to bookings, file retrieval, appointments etc.

Our nursing staff, Kimberly Higgs (Nurse Manager), Judy Sparrow (Diabetes Nurse), Michelle Ward, Blair Evans, Leanne Kuchel, Karen Collins, Renee Hahn, Zoe Liebich, perform a full range of nursing skills – triaging appointments, ECG, dressings, patient contact, observations and assistance with patient follow up.
